Theft-proof Your Phone

Everyone has just got to know this.

3) Take this number down on anywhere except on your phone and stash it away somewhere safe. It will help trace your phone in case of a theft.
4) Once stolen, you just have to mail this 15-digit IMEI number to cop@vsnl.net.
5) There is no need to go to police.
6) Your phone will be then be traced within the next 24 hours via a complex system of GPRS and internet.
7) You will find where your phone is being used even if in any case your number/sim has been changed.
If you lost your phone, send an e-mail to cop@vsnl.net with the following information:
